MomsRising members are bringing important motherhood and family issues to the forefront of the country's awareness. We are working to create both cultural and legislative change. It is time to break the logjam that has been holding back family-friendly legislation for decades and to advance workplace policies that will support families.  Businesses are crucial partners in the MomsRising coalition to create a truly family-friendly America. Studies show that a family-friendly America is good not only for families, but also for business. Business is strong when we have a healthy and productive workforce and, in turn, our economy flourishes when business is strong.  We welcome businesses of all sizes to join MomsRising.  www.momsrising.org

Moms Making a Million is a free membership program designed to help moms become financially secure.  Our goal is to have a million moms by 2015 who have a working plan to create a million dollars in personal net worth for themselves.  Moms Making a Million is a national membership program that offers innovative programming to bring educational teleconferences, personal financial guidance from a "dream team" of national experts, online resources as well as the support of other women in the group all having the same goal -- financial independence and security.  The concept came from the statistic that if women were paid the same wages as their male counterparts in the same jobs, poverty in America would be reduced by 50%...yes, amazingly, if we only did that, half of the poverty in America would be wiped away.   When moms are able to give their families a decent, healthy life then kids have enough food to think in school, the house feels less stressed, kids can think and learn, and that helps the next generation of our country become more competitive in the workplace and reduces crime and anger.  Helping moms financially doesn't just help out mom, it empowers our future generations of young men and women.  www.MomsMakingaMillion.com
